StrategyCheck is under construction. The private beta opens on February 28, 2027. The CSV audit is free and needs no account.

Free audit of your trade history

Upload your broker trade history and get a report with facts: how many closed trades there are, what they added up to after costs, how far the account fell at most, and whether the sample is large enough to know anything. It arrives in minutes, without waiting the 60 days of a paper run.

What you get

  • Facts, each with its number of trades. Net result, average per trade, maximum drawdown and concentration in the best trades and days.
  • The gate for your horizon. How many trades and market days are needed (intraday, swing, position or portfolio) and how much of that your history has.
  • «It can't be known yet» when that is the case. With fewer trades than the sample for its horizon, the report calculates no percentages and gives no money verdict.
  • Robustness. The maximum drawdown when your trades are shuffled at random, and the result by year and by symbol.

It does not predict markets, recommend what to trade or give signals, and it has no access to your account. The figures describe only the file you uploaded.

Upload your file

Up to 2 MB. .csv or .txt extension, UTF-8 text. Formats.

If you do not choose, we detect it from how long each position lasts and the report says it was detected.

The four horizons
Intraday
You open and close on the same day. The gate asks for 100 trades and 40 market days.
Swing
Positions of days to weeks. The gate asks for 40 trades and 60 market days.
Position
Positions of weeks to months. The gate asks for 20 trades and 120 market days.
Portfolio
A portfolio that is rebalanced from time to time. The gate asks for 4 rebalances and 180 market days.

To let you know when it is ready and to delete your data if you ask.

On sending, the file is stored to generate the report. Below is what we do with the data.

Formats we accept

Alpaca

Alpaca orders export as CSV.

Interactive Brokers

Activity Statement as CSV, with the Trades section.

Generic

One row per execution, with the columns symbol, side, qty, price,ts and, optionally, commission. side is buy or sell; ts is a date and time in ISO 8601 format.

Example of a generic file (made-up values)

symbol,side,qty,price,ts,commission
SPY,buy,10,500.00,2026-03-02T14:35:00Z,0.00
SPY,sell,10,503.20,2026-03-03T19:55:00Z,0.00

If your broker exports another format, convert it to the generic one and upload it anyway. Trades are matched by FIFO, as the methodology explains.

What we do with your data

  • We store the file to generate the report and so you can open it again with the link you receive.
  • We do not ask for broker keys, access to your account or your account balance. The file only has to carry the trades.
  • If you leave your email, we use it to let you know when the report is ready and to delete your data if you ask. Without an email, deletion can still be requested with the report link.
  • To ask for deletion write to [email protected]. More detail in privacy.
